Georgian government has decided to sell 70% share of the State Lottery Company.
The reason for the sale is solid debt of 200 million lari (about $ 80 million) that the state-owned company has accumulated over 2 years. In 2015 lottery income decreased by more than 50% compared to 2010.
Non-governmental organizations blame the government for it. The Ministry of Finance as well as the Ministry of Economy, has not made any comment yet.
